Aidan Jew was born in Urayasu Japan and attends Saint Ignatius College Prep in San Francisco, California. He has a Japanese mother whom has a lifelong incurable condition. He has been playing basketball since kindergarten. Afterschool, he enjoys participating as a student aid for the athletic trainers at school, as well as volunteering with horses and children with disabilities. He first gained interest in medicine after learning about his life threatening complex febrile seizure he had when he was a baby. He is interested in medicine in both humans and animals, and plans to pursue education focusing on diseases that affect all organisms.
